Happy Dog Studio is a one-person indie game studio making 2D games for audiences that are used to being an afterthought. LGBT players, Latin American players, people who want a game that was made for them, not adapted for them.
We work with selected freelancers on a contract-first basis. Every project starts with a clear brief and ends with a delivered product. No surprises.
The studio is named after Kieran. He does not know this. He is currently asleep.

Futuristic Noir RPG
A queer adult narrative RPG set in Aurora Heights, a futuristic noir metropolis. A detective arrives in a city that does not know him yet. Someone turns up dead. Everything gets complicated. The game is about identity, desire, and what it costs to finally become who you are.
Built in Godot 4. Ligne Claire art style. Adult 18+. Steam and itch.io.

Online Board Game Platform
An online board game platform built for Brazilian and Latin American players. Chess and draughts — draughts as the entry point for players who find chess intimidating. Latin identity built in, not bolted on. Inspired by Quechua textiles, Aztec geometry, Brazilian rhythm, and Cuban elegance.
Runs in the browser. No download. HTML + JS, Supabase, Stockfish. casa8.app
